GnR Concert 12/5/02
I went to see GnR at MSG in NYC 12/5/02. They were absolutely awesome. Axl sounded great. He was full of energy and played comedian at times poking fun at critic (of course). His voice was in prime form. The band was great. They were better than I imagined. Buckethead is a phenomenon. Super, awesome, great, the best. Thanks GnR.
Don't Believe It
Some reviewers gave Axl and the band a thumbs down for their VMA performance. These are the reviews by people who have never seen a real rock band live. A guy giving 200%. Axl seemed slightly winded during Welcome To The Jungle. Of course he was, did you see him run from one side of that huge Radio City stage to the other? This wasn't a pop bitch or rap jerk performing, this was real rock. The guy really sings and the musicians really play. Poppers and rappers all lip sync or have backgrounds to help them. Did you see P. Diddy's performance? If he had to really sing, he would have been kicked off after the first 2 minutes. Bring back Milli Vanilli.

AMERICA ROCKS HARD

We Miss Real Rockers
How empty is it when Guns' and Metallica are both absent from the scene? WOW! We need more Pop and Rap like we need more taxes.

More Rock - Less Slop
Now that real music has returned, I could can do without all the poppers and rock bands who use dj's and rappers. I want to hear from all of you G N' R fans. Tell me the last time and where you saw them live.
For me it was Madison Square Garden in December 1991. Soundgarden opened. Shannon Hoon came on to sing Don't Cry with Axl.

Send me an email about what you think makes GN'R great
I will list some responses here on the site.
